What if your pet needs an X-ray or Ultrasound scan?
We use X-ray for a variety of reasons in veterinary medicine. Our vet clinic in Lucan has invested in a state of the art digital X-rays. When our patients tell us so little x-rays can really help us figure out what is going on inside. We can find out about the heart, lungs and abdomen as well as looking for broken bones and bladder stones.
Since moving to digital X-ray we are able to process excellent radiographs in a shorter period of time. This is good news for our patients and their owners!
Ultrasonography is something we increasingly turn to in Hermitage Vet Clinic. We use it to examine the heart, and also to look at the liver, kidneys, stomach, bladder prostate and intestines. Of course ultrasound is also useful for checking for pregnancy.
