Liam qualified as a vet from University College Dublin and worked in Ireland and the UK prior to founding Hermitage Veterinary Clinic in 2005.
Liam has a two dogs – Robin a well behaved golden retriever and Bobo, a mischievous border collie. He also has a very handsome black cat called Scout.
Jenny qualified from University College Dublin in 2007. Jenny joined Hermitage Veterinary Clinic shortly after qualifying and thankfully has never left.
She has a very smart dog called Mindy who has been trained to perform a wide variety of tricks! Jenny also has a cat called Gerri.
Emer qualified from University College Dublin in 2008. After qualifying Emer worked in the UK before returning to work in our sister practice in Firhouse. After six months of travelling the world she returned to us to cover maternity leave for Jenny.
By the time Jenny returned Hermitage Vets had become busy enough for three vets, so Emer became a permanent member of our team. Emer has a cat called Beans.
Half of the original Hermitage team of two and very familiar to many of you, Gillian has accumulated a wealth of veterinary nursing experience and knowledge. She is calm under pressure and ensures the clinic runs smoothly.
Gillian has two dogs – Winnie, an excitable jack russell terrier and Sandy, a more sedate terrier cross. She also has a cat called Grainne.
Eve joined us in 2012 having qualified as a veterinary nurse from Dundalk. She loves all pets and is a favourite with animals and owners alike for her good humour and caring attitude.
She has a very cute yorkshire terrier called Rocky and a handsome cat called Cooper.
Niamh qualified with a degree in Veterinary Nursing from University College Dublin in 2014. Shortly after graduating she joined the Hermitage team. She is a very competent, professional and caring nurse and a great addition to the team.
She has a beautiful collie called Connie and a graceful little cat called Bella.
You might see some of these guys hanging around the clinic in Lucan – one of the perks of the job is we get to bring our pets to work. We also have a very shy clinic cat, Damo – an abandoned kitten who somehow seems to have become a permanent fixture at Hermitage Vets.
