Hermitage Veterinary Clinic – Lucan’s most recommended vets!

A busy vet clinic in Lucan Co. Dublin which boasts a team of experienced vets and nurses. We have been trusted to care for thousands of pets in the Lucan area since 2005. Here is out story….

Opening Hours:
Monday to Friday 9am – 7:45pm
Saturday 9am – 4:30pm

Hermitage Veterinary Clinic opened its doors to the public in May 2005 and has been an incredible success story. We started out with one vet (Liam Moriarty) and one nurse (Gillian Lynch) and through word of mouth our reputation grew quickly. We are now the biggest healthcare provider for pets in our area. We have three vets and three nurses working at Hermitage Veterinary Clinic in Lucan all dedicated exclusively to looking after pets. We see pets from morning to evening Monday to Friday and we also have appointments from 9:00am to 4:30pm on Saturdays.

We have free car parking available to the front and rear of our building. We run appointments right throughout the day and will always try to fit you in at a time that suits you.

Our team of vets and nurses are pet owners and are focused on small animal medicine and surgery. We take pride on keeping our clinical skills and standard of care up to date. We also strive to provide an informal, friendly and caring attitude within the clinic. We love to talk to our clients and you are always welcome to drop in to pick up food, flea or worm treatments or get some friendly advice.

We have facilities for medicine, surgery, dentistry, radiography (x-rays), ultrasound, blood testing and much more. We have been awarded clinic status by the Veterinary Council of Ireland. Many vets who do not themselves work with pets have trusted us to care for their pets and have recommended us to their families.

Call us if you have a question about your pet – we don’t bite!

We are part of a larger group with Carton Veterinary Clinic, Maynooth, Co. Kildare and Firhouse Veterinary Clinic, Firhouse Dublin 24.

Testimonials

I cannot say enough for the team at Hermitage Vet Clinic. My three terriers have been attending them for the last nine years and have been through everything from cancer operations to chocolate binges and each time they have had the best of care. I trust the team because their knowledge is so up to date and thorough. However I think the nicest thing about the guys at Hermitage is that my dogs are not nervous to visit – in fact they love it, since they have been puppies they are used to getting treats when they visit and getting loads of cuddles and attention. That’s an extra bonus!

I have my two dogs registered with Hermitage Vets for the past few years. I had heard great reports about them so brought my first dog Daisy down to them. Liam was the first vet I saw and he made Daisy so at ease and has continued to do so ever since. So when I got my second dog Lucky it was the same. Over the last few months I had a lot of contact with them over my dog Lucky, who took very ill rapidly one Saturday morning. I rang and they saw Lucky straight away. Liam again came to my aid. The nurses Eve, Gillian and Niamh couldn’t believe it was Lucky – he looked so sick. Liam reasured me that he would look after him and they had to do X-rays etc. Over the course of next 10 days between Jenny, Emer, Liam, Gillian, Eve and Niamh they looked after my baby with the highest professionalism and dedication. They went above and beyond, as they always do, and got Lucky back to full health. It didn’t matter how many times I rang and asked their advice or a silly question – they are always there to help. Their love for each and every animal that comes through there door is evident. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough! They are true animal healers and do fantastic work to help every animal that goes through their practice. Well done guys.
